SPECIFICATIONS
** Maximum cut – 900mm (yes, they’re designed for huge tiles).
** Maximum Tile thickness – Up to 20mm;
NOTE: this is a maximum – but that doesn’t mean it will cut EVERY 20mm tile.
It depends on the type and structure of the tile compound. Most 20mm tiles it will cut – some it won’t. And no, we can’t predict a “yes” or “no”.
And sorry – if it doesn’t cut your tiles, the best we can do is a credit for the hire towards the tile saw.
** What type of tiles will it cut? The specs book says ceramic, porcelain and natural stone with the samve provisions as for the thickness – it really depends on the compound and make up of the tile. Most it will cut, some it won’t and we can’t predict a yes or no BUT nearly everyone comes back happy with what it does for the price.
If you’re tiles are particularly expensive, and you want to make sure you don’t break any, we’d hire a tile saw with diamond blade.
** Professional unit for professional jobs with the cutting wheel changed way more regularly than professional tilers change theirs. In fact we were laughed at when we were discussing how often we changed the cutters with a tiler.

How Our Hire Rates Work
Same Day Saver – Hire Rate for any hire that starts and finishes on the same day.
More than one day – All days charged at same day rate until weekly rate applies.
Weekend – Pickup Saturday am and return Monday between 6.00am 7.00am.
– 8 hours use per weekend.
Is this fair – we think so; you have 2 days to do your job and we keep our hire rates fair for those with small jobs – and those who have bigger jobs and need more hours are charged extra for the extra machine wear and tear.
If you have a larger job, it may be more economical to collect Friday afternoon and pay for 2 days – which includes 16 hours use.
NOTE:
Friday pick up anytime and return Monday before 7.00am = 2 x same day (unless we confirm the Friday after 4.00pm pickup with a text; then weekend rate applies).
Week – 7 day week
More than one week – Days over 1 week: 20% of weekly rate (i.e. week rate divided by 5).
Month – calendar month
Hour Metre Items – 8 hours per day/weekend, 40 hours per week, 160 hours per month; extra charges apply
