We use the same Auger Drive for 1t, 1.7t and 2.5t tonne excavators. Why?
There are more powerful heads available for the 2.5 tonne excavator – but they spin much slower. This is OK if you ONLY have very tough ground. But if the ground is a bit softer – the extra speed you get from the higher flow on a 2.5 tonne excavator makes up for the “less power” than a more powerful auger drive.

How Our Hire Rates Work
Same Day Saver – Hire Rate for any hire that starts and finishes on the same day.
More than one day – All days charged at same day rate until weekly rate applies.
Weekend – Pickup Saturday am and return Monday between 6.00am 7.00am.
– 8 hours use per weekend.
Is this fair – we think so; you have 2 days to do your job and we keep our hire rates fair for those with small jobs – and those who have bigger jobs and need more hours are charged extra for the extra machine wear and tear.
If you have a larger job, it may be more economical to collect Friday afternoon and pay for 2 days – which includes 16 hours use.
NOTE:
Friday pick up anytime and return Monday before 7.00am = 2 x same day (unless we confirm the Friday after 4.00pm pickup with a text; then weekend rate applies).
Week – 7 day week
More than one week – Days over 1 week: 20% of weekly rate (i.e. week rate divided by 5).
Month – calendar month
Hour Metre Items – 8 hours per day/weekend, 40 hours per week, 160 hours per month; extra charges apply
