Vacuum - M Class Hilti

Operator Manual Download Operator Manual

Instructions for use:

Auto Filter Clean Function MUST be turned on.
The LED next to the stylized filter with dust coming out must be lit.
If it’s not – push the symbol.
NOTE: The auto clean system doesn’t work without a hose or cover cap fitted.

What “suck setting” when using as a dust removal system a Better Rentals floor grinder?
* Set the suction level at 27 for grinding.
This removes the dust from the air (and keeps it off everything else) but leaves some concrete dust on the floor to help keep the diamond head “open” and grinding better.
* Turn to 36 when cleaning up afterwards – or for any other equipment.

How do I know when the Filter Bag is full?
The machine will emit a loud annoying beep and the suction will drop.
Fit a new Filter Bag.
Sorry the Filter Bags cannot be emptied and re-used. They’re an important part of the filter system to remove silica dust.

Auxiliary Power Outlet –
No grinders or concrete saws to be plugged in. You’ll just blow fuses. Only use with a plaster sander. Max power – 1200watt (not much really).
If using the Aux Power Outlet – set the On/Off/Auto switch to “AUTO”.

Common Issues

There’s a beeping noise that’s really annoying.
Full Filter Bag: Usually this is caused by the filter bag being full but can also be a hose blockage or the filter full of dust because the filter bag was removed or not fitted correctly so the filter has become blocked.
If there’s not enough airflow, an audible alarm will sound to tell you the unit isn’t sucking as it should and so is no longer rated as “M Class” (ie not removing dust at the required rate to be safe).

To Fix (and stop the alarm):
DO NOT REMOVE FILTERS
REPEAT DO NOT REMOVE FILTERS
*Make sure Auto Filter Clean turned on:
LED must be lit – as above.
* Fit a new bag or unblock hose as required.

1. Turn the power knob to the highest setting. (36 on the dial)

2. Remove the hose and fit the cap over the hose hole.

3. Turn Vacuum ON.

4. Allow the vacuum to go through 2 cycles of filter cleaning.

5. Refit the hose and you should be OK to go.
