Hire a spiked lawn roller to put holes in a hard lawn to allow water and air get down to the roots.
Lightweight roller – until you fill it with water then it’s heavy.
If the ground is rock hard – it won’t work; but then nothing will except a rotary hoe and start the lawn again.
If you’re top dressing a proper lawn with soft ground we recommend a motorised lawn corer. No – we don’t have these as people would hire them for use on rock hard ground and they’d break…. Sorry.

How Our Hire Rates Work
Same Day Saver – Hire Rate for any hire that starts and finishes on the same day.
More than one day – All days charged at same day rate until weekly rate applies.
Weekend – Pickup Saturday am and return Monday between 6.00am 7.00am.
– 8 hours use per weekend.
Is this fair – we think so; you have 2 days to do your job and we keep our hire rates fair for those with small jobs – and those who have bigger jobs and need more hours are charged extra for the extra machine wear and tear.
If you have a larger job, it may be more economical to collect Friday afternoon and pay for 2 days – which includes 16 hours use.
NOTE:
Friday after 4.00pm pick up and return Saturday before 5.00pm is always 24 hour hire rate.
Friday pick up anytime and return Monday before 7.00am = 2 x same day.
Week – 7 day week
More than one week – Days over 1 week: 20% of weekly rate (i.e. week rate divided by 5).
Month – calendar month
Hour Metre Items – 8 hours per day/weekend, 40 hours per week, 160 hours per month; extra charges apply
