Turf Cutter Hire

Hire a turf cutter to remove old lawn before laying new turf. Or lifting good turf for relaying. A Better Rentals turf cutter is easy to use units with very simple directions. Have a look at the video for instructions.

What to do BEFORE you hire a turf cutter:

Cut the grass with a catcher and remove all the clippings.

This prevents long grass tangling the blade and stopping the smooth operation.

Water the lawn and give it time to soak in (the day before) so the ground is soft (but not muddy).

The turf cutter is heavy duty – but rock hard ground will cause breakdowns which will annoy both you and us.

Late Fees – we allow 1/2 hour grace before excess charges apply.
Speeding Tickets – we know you’ll be excited to get started but don’t break the road rules.
Cleaning Fee – we don’t expect it to sparkle but…
