New Kanga Kid mini Loaders – with 4 in 1 bucket…

We recently upgraded our mini loader fleet.

Our friends at kanga loaders beavered away to produce us a whole bunch of machines that replaced pretty well our entire fleet.

And when we added our smaller kanga kid loaders to the order we improved their versatility by including 4 in 1 buckets

So, now if you have a job for a mini loader where access is tight you get a 4 in 1 bucket included in the hire rate.

And at the risk of it sounding like we’re writing a press release, they are also available with a post hole digger or trencher.

Logsplitter Hire – Safer, Easier and No Lifting

When it was time to change over our old reliable splitters we had a look around for something different that would do the job better. Gary Potter – who has been at Better Rentals longer than we’ve been open – trialled one of these to split next winter’s wood. He splits it in the summer so it sits around and dries and as he said; “that keeps she who burns it happy”. We didn’t think anyone could get so excited about a log splitter.

“I can’t believe I’m so excited about a log splitter” he said after the trial. “The 40 tones of pressure meant I could split anything. The lifting thing saved my back and the dual hand controls kept my hands safe”.

Trolley Mounted Demo Saw?

We often get asked for a “demo saw on a trolley” for cutting longer runs of concrete or crack chasing. The demo saw would do the job – but the operators knees and back would take a beating.

Our large floor saws (which take a 450mm (18″) blade) are often too large – so we found these “little floor saws” – or a “demo saw on a trolley”. Powered by an easy start Honda motor they’ll take a 350mm (14″) or 400mm (16″) diamond blade which will cut down 120mm or 145mm deep.

And weighing only 48kg a couple of people can lift one into a ute – although we’d recommend a trailer with a ramp. No, we aren’t lazy either, but safety is top of the list.
