Better Rentals has been the equipment hire choice of Melbourne since 1986 when we opened in Cranbourne.

Still owned by the same family who opened in what then was a small country town, our attention to detail and responding to the requests of customers has seen us grow to our current four locations.

1. Our staff love to help you complete your job quickly and easily – so recommend the right equipment, not the most expensive.
2. Our rates are fair to us both – and the longer you hire, the cheaper it gets.
3. What we quote is what we charge – no hidden extras. Damage waiver (with reasonable conditions), gst, fuel on small items, and a trailer if applicable are included.
4. We’re always on the look out for ways to save money in our business without compromising quality or safety so we can keep our rates fair.
5. Our weekend rates are wonderful – they mean we get Sunday off – and you get an extra day to do the job for not much extra.
6. We’re available 24 hours 7 days per week – for emergencies that is. Call for a routine price enquiry on Sunday night and we probably won’t be too helpful.
