When it was time to change over our old reliable splitters we had a look around for something different that would do the job better.
Gary Potter - who has been at Better Rentals longer than we've been open - trialed one of these to split next winter’s wood. He splits it in the summer so it sits around and dries and - as he said - “that keeps she who burns it happy”.
We didn’t think anyone could get so excited about a log splitter.
“I can’t believe I’m so excited about a log splitter” he said after the trial.
“The 40 tones of pressure meant I could split anything. The lifting thing saved my back and the dual hand controls kept my hands safe”.
